ISI Inspection Report

Under the new ISI Inspection Framework 2023, schools are no longer awarded quality judgement ratings (such as 鈥渆xcellent鈥�), but instead receive a 鈥渕et鈥� or 鈥渦nmet鈥� standards judgement based on compliance with The Education (Independent School Standards) Regulations 2014.

We are delighted to share that Danes Hill has met all the required standards, reflecting our unwavering commitment to providing a high-quality education and exceptional care for our pupils.

The following extracts from the report, evidence the quality of education, the pupil鈥檚 behaviour and personal development and the hard work that everyone puts into making pupils鈥� experience at Danes Hill meaningful.

Inspectors noted that,聽鈥榩upils learn well because the curriculum is designed to support their needs鈥�聽and praised teachers for their subject expertise and effective methods that ensure all pupils, including those with SEND and EAL, make good progress.
The report commends the school鈥檚 nurturing environment, emphasising that,聽鈥榩upils behave well towards others both in class and around the school鈥�聽and that robust policies ensure any issues, including bullying, are addressed promptly and effectively:聽鈥楶upils understand the difference between friendship issues, behaviour choices and bullying, and adults respond quickly to any instances of unkindness.鈥�
The Inspectors highlighted the strong emphasis on personal development and emotional wellbeing, noting that,聽鈥榯he school鈥檚 values are central to the curriculum鈥�聽and that pupils demonstrate respect and confidence while preparing for their futures.
The Inspectors also praised the School鈥檚 commitment to offering a well-rounded education, highlighting that,聽鈥榯he school provides an extensive range of extra-curricular activities, which are well attended and enjoyed by pupils鈥�, and that these opportunities enrich their skills and knowledge beyond the taught curriculum
